WORKFLOW EVENT & TRIGGERS:
Event is an action made by a prospect that triggers a predefined email that will be sent to him/her or will opt them into a workflow or opt-them out.
Events need to be built on your Email Marketing platform. Some events are quite simple such as "prospect opened an email" or "prospect clicked on a specific button". However, some events are "online activity-based" and require coding on your site. This may include "abandoned cart", "your plan is running low- please upgrade to a new plan" or any other custom events. Events are coded by tracking code on HTML, Java, or JSON and require very professional planning of (the type of event + the type of trigger+ what happens + timing).
Then, once the event roadmap is designed and built. The emails need to be written and designed for each event.
